The skillet, bat or pipe left a lot to be desired. You might miss or not hit hard enough to knock the intruder out. As for the guns, well, if you didn’t want to kill anyone, a gun was probably not your best choice.

Many other individuals have turned to self-defense training and classes that promise an individual that these techniques will subdue the attacker and keep you safe.

What was once reserved for law enforcement is now available to the public.

There are some limitations, however. For instance, tasers and stun guns must be registered in most states and will not be issued to certain individuals with criminal records.
