With the 45th President of the United States soon to be elected who would you choose? I know the circles I run in would vote for neither. As good Americans we normally try to choose the best of the worse. The choices this time around are Barack Obama and Mitt Romney, who will you choose? This may help to make up your mind.
From Greg Sargent: When Republicans attack public workers, they often take care to exempt cops and firefighters, because they are culturally sympathetic figures, and muddle the message that government workers are parasites who are destroying the economic conditions of ordinary Americans.

Have you ever wondered what keywords on the internet triggers The Department of Homeland Security keep an eye on?
Well wonder no more, The Department of Homeland Security has been forced to release a list of keywords it uses to monitor social networking sites and online media for signs of terrorist or other threats against the U.S. The list includes obvious choices such as attack, Al Qaeda, terrorism and dirty bomb alongside dozens of seemingly innocent words like pork, cloud, team and Mexico.

George Zimmerman has not been charged in the shooting of Trayvon Martin, 17, who was gunned down as he returned to his father’s house with candy for his younger brother.
Martin had been visiting his father from Miami.
According to a police report, Zimmerman, who was watching the neighborhood in his car, had initially called police to report a 'suspicious person in the area'.
Zimmerman was told to keep his distance, but before officers could reach the scene, there was some kind of skirmish between him and Martin.

Self-defense items have been around for a long time. They have actually stood the test of time in terms of developing a successful track record of defending people. Pepper sprays, stun devices, batons and personal alarms have all been used by law enforcement officials for decades.
Only within the last two decades have self-defense items made their way into the civilian community. Companies like Stun Master, Mace brand and TASER have all seen the need for self-defense items.

Government and local law enforcement agencies have been using hidden cameras and spy cameras for years mostly to catch criminals red-handed with their hand in the cookie jar so to speak. And that's exactly what they are used for today to catch people doing something they shouldn't be doing.
To do that spy cameras use board cameras placed inside objects that people are used to seeing around the home, office or business on a day-to-day basis.

Not many people know this but there are thousands of stun devices on the market today with as many as 100 different manufacturers. You don't see a lot of them marketed in this country because quite frankly they are junk. Yes that's a fact. There's a lot of junk out there. So the first thing is when you see a stun tool on a website marketed in the United States even though it is probably made in China or Taiwan it has passed the scrutiny of an importer. That alone tells you that it's more reliable than most stun devices.

I was surfing the internet reading the news around the country and the topic of home invasions kept coming up. The below article caught my attention and I would like to share it with you.
"Gentlemen" Rob Family's Henderson Home Last week three men allegedly broke into a family’s Henderson apartment around midnight and robbed them at gunpoint. For a half hour they ransacked the home and took various appliances, including a 42-inch plasma TV, laptop and Xbox.

I had a call from a single mom with two youthful children and her new assignment will need her to invest her time traveling. She expressed to me her anxiousness about being away.
She pays two nannies to look after her children whilst she is at functions, but she isn't placing an excessive amount of faith in them. When I realized this, I recommended that she get herself some house DVR hidden cameras to watch them.

Spy cameras and hidden cameras have been around for a long time. They've mostly been used by government agencies and law enforcement types. Until recently they were the only ones that could afford them or figure out how to use them. But there's a new big dog in town--DVR Hidden Cameras.
Like other hidden cameras they use objects that people are used to seeing on a daily basis.

Stun guns are hand held devices that deliver an electrical charge into the muscular system of an assailant that causes his muscles to over work very rapidly using up all of his blood sugars. So all he can do is curl up in a little ball. There is no pain involved and the electrical charge will not pass through to you
Powerful Stun Guns are generally a little bit more expensive than less powerful ones.

A large misconception about defense spray is that the higher the percentage, the hotter and much better it works. In most instances this could not be further from the truth. Most of the very best, fastest incapacitating sprays within the world are from 2%-10%. The lighter the fluid, the quicker is penetrates the membranes. The percentage has nothing to do with the actual SHU or "hot" within the spray. Also, thicker sprays can inflame the skin region much more and last longer with this unnecessary inflammation.

A diversion safe is generally known as a hidden diversion safe. Valuables could be discretely stored inside these look-a-like or fake containers and kept in their seemingly correct places, like beneath a sink or on a pantry shelf. They're totally safeand fully secure location to hide your belongings in plain sight.
The diversion safe is really a fantastic method to hide essential issues correct out within the open.

Live in a bad neighborhood? Always leaving work after dark? Feeling safe in your own home, at the office, or walking to your car on a dark night are very important. Sometimes pepper-spray is not enough to ward off attackers and something more durable is what you are looking for. In the market of nonlethal self defense products, the Stun Gun Flashlight can be a wise and life saving choice.

Not long ago, crime was something that happened to other people. It happened in cities or "high crime areas" but not in quiet little towns where moms take kids to the park, jog alone or go to and from work at all hours of the day and night.

There have been countless of genius innovations in the recent years-from mobile phones getting smaller and smaller, personal computers turning into tiny laptops, CD players becoming portable mp3 players, and the list just goes on.
However, the most significant invention can be attributed in the safety and security industry, where every self-defense tool has become more compact, user-friendlier and more affordable.

Phoenix Arizona parents are getting more on edge after news that a sexual predator is targeting young girls in the area.
What can they do to improve safety for kids, especially if there's an unavoidable situation where children must walk alone?
``Pepper spray and stun guns are probably the best bet," said Rose Marie Urbanski of Phoenix.
She said choosing a safety tool really depends on the age of the child.

A rash of robberies striking Central Florida is believed to be caused by the poor economy.
"When you have worse economic times generally there is an increase in crime," said Dr. Ross Wolf of the UCF Department of Criminal Justice. "A lot of people find that they can’t make ends meet, so they start looking at other ways to provide income."
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office said they have solved half of their robbery cases since January.
