| Animal repellents are used for preventing
confrontations with animals such as canines or bears. The most
common animal repellent is a
dog pepper spray.
Dogs that have gotten loose, broken their chains or were never secured at all,
attack people every day.
Canine attacks usually happen
because they are responding to what they think is an invasion of their territory or the dog may feel
threatened in some other way.
Often threatened dogs bite no
matter what their breed or size. This occurs most often to delivery
people.
Due to the nature of the job the opportunity
presents its self more often for an animal attack .
Before carrying animal repellent check with your department on their policies
.
Bear attacks are more dangerous
and life threatening.
Because of a bears massive size, it is very easy for a bear to
overpower a person and seriously injure or even kill them.
Usually
bears attack when they are startled or are protecting their cubs.
Carrying a bear
pepper spray on all your trips while in bear country is just
common sense and should be a permanent item on your packing list.
Keep your bear spray in the holster on your side for easy and fast
access when you need it.
Make sure with either the Guard
Alaska Bear Mace or Dog Mace you do a dry test so in the event you
are attacked you know exactly how to use animal repellents.
All repellant sprays are allowed to be shipped to New York, Wisconsin and Michigan! |
